Zanella wins Bradley Memorial!

Tony Zanella from the Speed Cycling Systems team pulled off a courageous win on Sunday in the rich Bradley Family Memorial handicap at Lancefield.

Riding with the scratch bunch, Tony characteristically did every turn plus some extra work at the front of the pack. Even when it was clear that the winner would come from the enormous group formed by Scratch, Second Scratch and Third, he kept driving the pace – and with 5km to go broke away with former Spanish pro rider Geordie Probert.

In the final straight Tony proved too strong and finished a clear winner. To notch up a win is always good…but to do it in style, from the front – well, that’s extra special!
